We're in closed beta and finalising the TikTok story capture pipeline. There's no firm public date yet because the 24-hour window means we're stress-testing reliability first. This page updates the moment the tool is live — bookmark it to catch the first stable release without checking back manually.

No. The downloader only works with stories from public profiles — the same stories anyone can see by visiting the account in a browser. Private accounts, friends-only stories and direct-message videos are never accessible, by design. Respecting the poster's privacy setting is a hard rule, not a limitation we plan to lift.

No. We fetch the story anonymously from TikTok's public endpoints, so your account (if you have one) is never associated with the view. TikTok's viewer list won't show your name. Saving a story is completely invisible to the creator — the same as anyone else viewing them in a browser tab while logged out.

Once TikTok removes a story after its 24-hour window, it's gone from their public feed and we can no longer fetch it. The whole point of this tool is beating that clock — save the story while it's still live, and you'll have it forever. Highlights (permanently pinned stories) will be handled once the profile-archive feature ships.

Yes. TikTok stories come in two flavours — short video clips and photo slideshows — and both are handled by the same paste box. Slideshows are stitched into an MP4 with the story's background music preserved where present, and individual photos are also available as JPGs if you want the source images on their own.

Yes. The MP4 is a direct copy of the source stream: no TikTok logo overlay, no username bug, no start or end card. The saved file is indistinguishable from the story as it appears when you view it in TikTok's own player, minus the app chrome. Slideshow captions burn in only if the creator added them themselves.

No. No TikTok login and no account with us. Paste a story URL or a public @username, tap the button, save the file. We don't store paste history or tie downloads to an identity, so you can save stories without ever appearing on a viewer list or leaving a trace on either service.
