This tool is for personal, offline use only: music you purchased, tracks you're licensed to reuse, uploads you made yourself, or content published under a permissive licence. Making a private copy of music you already have legitimate access to is generally accepted in many places; making it available to others, reselling it, or using it commercially is not.

Is the Spotify to MP3 downloader free?+

Yes. When it launches it will be completely free — no hidden fees, no watermarks, no download limits and nothing to install. You won't need a Spotify Premium subscription on their side or an account on ours; the converter runs entirely in your browser and each MP3 goes straight to your device.

When will it launch?+

We're in closed beta and finalising the Spotify integration. There's no firm public date yet, but this page updates the moment the tool is live. Bookmark it or drop the URL into your notes app to catch the first stable release and any early quality upgrades.

Will I need a Spotify Premium account to use it?+

No. A free Spotify account is enough — the converter reads public track, album and playlist links, so anything you can open in the Spotify web player will work. Premium subscribers can use it too, but nothing about the flow depends on a paid tier.

What quality will the MP3 output be?+

Up to 320 kbps constant bitrate at 44.1 kHz — the same ceiling as Spotify's Very High streaming quality. Lower-quality source tracks are preserved without re-encoding artefacts. Every file carries the original title, artist, album and cover art embedded as ID3 tags.

Can I convert a whole playlist or album, not just single songs?+

Yes. One paste box handles all three link types. A single track returns one MP3, an album returns a ZIP with every track named and tagged, and a playlist returns a ZIP plus an M3U file so it opens as an ordered playlist in VLC, iTunes or any music player.

Is it legal to convert Spotify to MP3?+

It depends on your country and what you do with the file. Personal offline listening of music you legitimately have access to is usually tolerated; redistribution, resale or bypassing paid content is not. This tool is intended for personal use only — please respect artists, labels and Spotify's terms.

Does it work on mobile?+

Yes — entirely in your mobile browser, with no app to install. On iPhone the MP3 lands in the Files app and can be added to Apple Music; on Android it saves to the Downloads folder and opens in any player, including the Spotify app's own local files feature.

Will Spotify know I used this tool?+

No. The converter never signs in to your Spotify account, never touches your library and never posts activity anywhere. From Spotify's side there's simply a public link being read. We don't log your paste history or attach downloads to any identity on our side either.
